Eileen Farwick, DO, FACOG, FPMRS, COEMIG, is board certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine where she sub-specialized in urogynecology and laparoscopic techniques.
At the Center for Urogynecology, Dr. Farwick provides expertise in urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery. This sub-specialty focuses on the diagnosis and management of women who have urinary and rectal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and other abnormalities of the pelvic organs.
Dr. Farwick is an accredited minimally invasive surgeon and expert in the usage of the daVinci® Surgical Robot in laparoscopic surgery. She is also recognized as a “Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology” (COEMIG) designated surgeon.
Dr. Farwick is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where she educates medical students in the practice of urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery. She is also the medical director of pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery education at Orlando Health.
She serves as chairperson in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology for District XII in Section 3, that represents the women and OB/GYN physicians in Central Florida. She is actively involved on committees for the betterment of women’s health through Orlando Health and Health Central and also offers consultation and treatment of advanced gynecological conditions at the Center for Advanced Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
