Jose Perez, MD, joined Orlando Health in 1995 and is a member of the neonatal intensive care team at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. Dr. Perez is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. 

Dr. Perez earned his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He completed his pediatrics residency at Orlando Health, followed by a fellowship in neonatology at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Perez has earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Perez is the Corporate Medical Director of the NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, he is also Medical Director of Research, as well as the ECMO Director.

Dr. Perez has been published in multiple journals. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Florida Society of Neonatologists.
