Dr. Wade Alverson is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. As a hospitalist, he sees OB/GYN patients in the hospital and coordinates their care with specialty physicians.
Dr. Alverson has been in practice since 2002 helping mothers through pregnancy and birth. His experience includes:
- Providing pregnancy care and counseling
- Performing reproductive health screening
- Guiding patients on prevention and wellness
He strives to put his patients first and tries to meet all of their needs by forming relationships with them.
Dr. Alverson’s Training
Dr. Alverson earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Orlando Health. Dr. Alverson also served as chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Alverson is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family and spending time on the water.
