Melissa Soltero, MD, MPH, is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Orlando Health Physician Associates. Through every stage of life, she provides women with preventative gynecological services, family planning and care during milestones such as pregnancy, birth, menopause and more.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez, Dr. Soltero completed a master’s of public health degree in epidemiology at the Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico followed by her medical degree from the university’s School of Medicine. She conducted her post-doctoral training at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies with a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. During her residency, she was honored for achievements in research and teaching.
In addition to her research experience, Dr. Soltero has been published in the peer-reviewed The Journal of Neuroscience. Her numerous professional memberships include the American Medical Association and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Soltero is fluent in both English and Spanish.
