Bio
Dr. Desai is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology, and maternal-fetal medicine. He joined Winnie Palmer Hospital’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine division in 2012 and works closely with community obstetricians to deliver the highest quality care to women and families during their pregnancy. He is also an active faculty member helping to teach both medical students and the next generation of obstetrician-gynecologists. Dr. Desai has been published in numerous medical publications and has presented his research at national conferences, including the prestigious plenary sessions for the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Society for Gynecological Investigation.
He received his medical degree from University of California, San Diego, and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at University of South Florida, Tampa where he was also selected as chief resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine, New York.
