Pedro J. Cruz, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Orlando Health Physician Associates. He provides patients with a full range of gynecological and obstetrical care through all stages of life. He also is certified as a da Vinci® system surgeon. This robotic-assisted technology enables Dr. Cruz to perform complex minimally invasive procedures with precision and accuracy, providing the most advanced care to his patients.
Dr. Cruz earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico in Cayey. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospital in San Juan. He then served as a major in the United States Army for five years and was an OB-GYN at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Missouri.
Dr. Cruz is board certified by and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). He also is a member of the Florida Medical Association and Pan-American Medical Association. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
