Orlando Health and Watson Clinic Combine Efforts to Improve Healthcare in Polk County and Beyond

Orlando Health and Watson Clinic are working together to expand access to high-quality medical care for the Polk County community. This collaboration brings together one of the highest-quality hospital systems in the Southeastern United States and one of the nation’s most respected physician-led practices to deliver seamless, patient-centered care across a full spectrum of healthcare services.

The collaboration came to life with the opening of Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital in Summer 2026.

By combining our respective strengths, we are able to provide a level of care and service that expands both our capabilities while enhancing patient care.

About Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital

The Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital serves as a vital healthcare hub, offering:

  • 300+ inpatient beds

  • 69 emergency and observation beds in the emergency department

  • 10+ operating rooms, including c-section, cardiac and interventional suites

  • Labor and delivery services, including a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) opening fall 2026

  • Cardiac care with diagnostic testing at opening, with interventional cardiology services launching shortly thereafter

  • Neuroscience services with advanced stroke and spine care

  • Additional specialized programs to launch in the future

We know that coming to a hospital can be overwhelming. By knowing what to expect, you and your family can feel reassured and more at ease.

We encourage all our patients and guests to park in the parking lot west of the building. The main entrance is located on the west side of the building. You can also take advantage of the valet service.

Our main entrance is open daily from 5:00 am to 9:30 pm. Our visitation policy is open, without specific hours, so families can support their loved ones. The Emergency Department does limit visitors to 2 per patient.

Our cafeteria offers a variety of meal and snack options, along with a salad bar, to accommodate our patients, visitors and staff.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday, 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 - 7:00 pm

Concord Coffee Shop is open 5:30 to 8:00 pm daily and offers a variety of pastries and grab-and-go options also.

When you arrive you will be greeted by security and proceed through their check point. After entering the main lobby you will check-in at our front desk. Our guest services team will be able to direct you to the right place and provide more information at that time.

If you are a patient coming for a procedure, please bring the following:

  • List of all current medications, including over-the-counter, herbal and supplements
  • List of dosages, when they are taken and the last dose taken
  • Primary care physician’s name and contact information
  • List of known allergies and medication reactions
  • List of medical conditions
  • List of surgeries
  • Contact information for family or friends
  • Pharmacy name, address and phone number
  • Insurance card
  • Social security card
